I passed and he got "the call"
After a weekend in prison, (staying home ALL weekend to study) I passed my test!!! I have completed my series 63 and am well on my way to working with securities. Very exciting I know. Everyone has been great about this whole thing... thank you for all of your prayers!! Tim woke up early and bought some flowers for me... he's very sweet! Then he calls to tell me I need to come over. I walk in his house and his entire family is sitting at the table. Then I got the news...
He got the call last night. They want him. That's right. Tim is now the guitarist for Automatic Loveletter (www.myspace.com/automaticloveletter). AHHHH!!! Thank you everyone (again) for all of your prayers!! This past month has been extremely stressful for both of us between my job and his search but it all came together in ONE day!! Praise God!!
...the amazing part is Tim booked his flight last night with their manager and they had booked his departure for July 6th. Tear. He went to the airport today to pick up his paperwork and they had changed it to July 8th without him even knowing it!! [for those of you reading this, if anyone reads this, my birthday is July 7th and I was really bummed about him missing it... shallow, I know] God works in mysterious ways. So now he leaves Sunday July 8th and his return flight is booked for DECEMBER 23rd. ouch. It will be worth it. I am so happy to see him so happy!!! We have been really blessed by God these past couple of months; it wasn't until we truly gave EVERTHING and all control over to him that everything started to come together. I've really learned that God's will is much better than my will.
After our DRAMA filled morning we spent the rest of the day with some of my family up at our boat. I'll post some pics tomorrow, I'm so sleepy!!
I love you all!!

I cannot get that out of my head!! We went to Hacienda last weekend and there were some Jr. High girls there with shirts that said IDK my BFF Jill... I wanted one so bad!! I asked them where they got their shirts and they mostly just stared at Tim. Turns out they made them.
So it has been a long time since I've updated my blog and sadly I do not have much to add. Memorial Day weekend was fun. We went to several cookouts and spent a lot of time at the beach... which we all know is my favorite. I was finally able to see Betsy after months!! We made it to Scotts to see his new house too. Last weekend we went down to Indy for Amy's Graduation/House warming party.
I’ve been missing my coffee dates like crazy!! If you’re reading this and you like coffee too, call me and lets meet up!! I wish
It's sad that I don't have anything new or big going on... I guess that’s a good thing… I can feel a rock in the boat coming. I have been house hunting and Tim's been job hunting so things are a little stressful! We just keep going back to God has a plan and we find comfort in that. Well I'm off to do one of my icky workouts. Hopefully in the next few days I'll have some news about my work situation... I just have to remember that the battle is the Lords.

It has never been more real to me how fragile life is. Your life can completely change in just one instant. In just a flash everything could be turned upside down.
I take things for granted.
I don't smile enough.
I worry too much.
I go too fast.
I don't know if I'm doing what I was made for. We have been put on this earth for one thing... to reach out to others, to show them Christ, to be a friend, to share God's word, to listen. Not to judge, not to gossip, not to compete, not to be better than anyone else.
Your life is your testimony. Life is short...

Last weekend my entire family headed to Indy to help Amy and Graig move into their new house. It was a crazy couple of days. Here are some pics...
Bloomington
After we finished helping Graig and Amy in Indy we headed down to Bloomington to visit Dan. I was FINALLY able to see his new house... which is amazing. We didn't take any pictures of it... I was way too tired and never even thought about it... whoops!
[notice this is a sign for warfare centers... what a lovely welcome to his guests]
