Eight Minutes
I have had two of the strangest experiences in the past week. First, I woke up around 5:30 A.M. Friday morning because we were having an earthquake. I live in northern Indiana folks. Crazy. Next, I went to the DMV to renew my license plate tonight and I was in and out in about 8 minutes. The line was all of the way to the door when I walked in. Eight minutes. Crazy. Now I'm going to go hang out in our basement with the treadmill.

Hannah's

A few weeks ago I had ANOTHER surprise shower given to me by my aunt. It was amazing! It was at my favorite restaurant in New Buffalo, Hannah's. Almost all of the ladies from both sides of my family were able to make it. It was so much fun!!

The most amazing cake from Jewel!

Here's Ann and I walking in. She talked me into going to the Lighthouse with her but didn't realize that they're on central time so we ended up being late.Walking in, I was shaking , I was caught so off guard!!
My flower girlsThis was an awesome favor! My aunt took two different colors of beach glass, green and white, and poured them into the vase together showing how Tim and I are becoming one. It was awesome because I collect beach glass and there was one for everyone.

Lots of presents and lots of help from my flower girls!

Easter
Here's some pictures from Easter at the Gustafson household. They're kind of blurry. Tim got home at 7:00 A.M. so he's looking a little tired. Easter was right in the middle of March Madness so you'll notice my brother keeping record of the games on his lame clipboard.

We are on computers ALL of the time.
Notice the clipboard.
A couple of ghetto and deviled egg faces

Yes, we are in our twenties and we still get Easter baskets.

Trying to sneak some chocolate behind Tims back

I had just sneezed and Tommy decided to take my picture

Updates!!

So it's been a long time since I've really put much on here. I have a lot to add, hopefully I'll get it all done this weekend! Lets see, in the past few weeks I've had some showers, worked on wedding details and Tim is home!! Here's some pictures from Mark & Laurens wedding. They were married last weekend at the Burkeys newly remodeled house. Check it out... I'll add more later!!

These cupcakes were AMAZING!!

Notice the slide show going on behind them... the honour recital... really?

...and that's why we don't drink too much! :)

The Calm Before the Storm

Happy Spring!! One week ago from right now it was snowing. Yeah. Not too much going on over here, it's like the calm before the storm. I'm getting my ring back from the jewler tonight, that's exciting. Wedding season is here!! We have 5 weddings between today and our wedding, crazy!! Next week we have Mark & Lauren, then it's Bethany & Garrett, then Dustin & Brinn, then Crystal & Brandon, then Tim's aunt Shannon and FINALLY ours. Funny thing is, except for Cyrstal & Brandon, we were engaged before these guys!!

Sorry I don't have anything new to report... life is very s l o w right now. I'll put some pictures up soon of our Easter, good times!

Happy Birthday Beth!!

Today is Beth's birthday and she's treated herself to a long weekend in Florida and she's still there!! Tim was able to have a short visit home last weekend. He called me Friday afternoon to see if I had plans for Saturday/Sunday and then he surprised me and came home. I've now seen Tim twice in 2008, wow!

He got in around 4:00 on Saturday and left around 5:00 on Sunday. We went to church, Wings, and we finally caught up on Lost. We were five episodes behind and wow have we missed a lot!! We aren't exactly sure how his schedule will work. We do know that for every 6 days he drives he'll have 1 day off. He's thinking about being home every other weekend, so we'll see. He'll be able to stop by randomly... like tonight he has to drive through town and if he times it right he can stay overnight. I don't really understand this 14 hour day - 11 hours driving business. At least now he has his own truck and he has his laptop & guitar with him. Now I'll never hear from him :)

Here's some pictures of his truck:

And now Tim has a working phone!!

I thought Kelly Ripa, He thought George Costanza

Last Saturday Amy and Ann surprised me with a shower at Houlihans. It was awesome and I was very surprised!! These cookies were the favors and they were delicious!! I was blessed with amazing gifts, only two more months until we get our apartment and I can unpack everything and put it to use!! We played the gum game. Ann asked Tim twenty-some questions and I had to come up with the same answers he did. I got 10 right. Oh, and the gum... it was sour grape. I hate grape. Apparently Tim doesn't know our wedding colors, he's changed his mind on how many kids he wants and if he had to pick someone on TV that I remind him of it would be George Costanza. Nice. Oh yeah, and if he could live anywhere in the world it would be Italy. WHAT?!?! I've never heard that! I thought it was LA.... what do I know? :) It was a lot of fun and now I have a lot to tease Tim about. Thank you to Amy and Ann for everything!!! If anyone has pictures, send them my way!!
